L races Porsche Carrera at stoplight (in a Kia Rio!); L insists she performed better in 0-30
W pulls out remaining Smirnoff Ice; pours each into empty water bottles so L can drink & drive (flirting with disaster!)
Ft. Meyers Beach is a dump (think OC or Atlantic City); L & W walk along the beach – water is gross (brown w/algae – yuk!)
L & W hit monster rainstorm (is it because we are leaving?)
W washes feet in gutter rainspout at Enterprise; L washes feet in airport bathroom sink
Airport security looks extra hard at W’s eyelash curler (can W hurt someone with those?)
L & W will never fly Delta again! Delta wants to charge $25 ea for boarding earlier flight (it’s not like the flight was full!); L & W opt to wait for next flight; next flight takes detour en route to Atlanta due to storms (not again!); L & W arrive at airport with ½ hour to make connection (W wearing sneakers this time – no awkward running in high heels this go round!)
