LNDT overslept big time on Sunday – she just didn’t realize how exhausted she was until she got a decent night’s sleep. LNDT is recharged and primed for action! Unfortunately, it’s time to pack up and go (boo hoo!). While mentally reviewing the weekend's events LNDT is surprised by how little she spoke on the tubing trip (she spent 5 hours on the river and only said, “Gimme a beer”)? How odd (but a relief for all the hashers that can’t stand energizer bunnies).
LNDT tells PSA she’ll be riding with MM back to DC (The old biddies need to exchange gossip, you know!). At some point, the conversation moves onto the subject of chain mail (PSA’s brother makes chain mail clothing). LNDT’s ears perk up (an idea! It’s brilliant!). LNDT is looking for a top for the DC Red Dress Run to match her red leather miniskirt. LNDT likes to pretend that she has a very confident and domineering persona, so leather and chains should be a good look for her! PSA is very enthusiastic and helpful about LNDT’s wardrobe suggestions (who wouldn’t be?). Tune in for further updates!
Sidenote: LNDT considered recapping all the fire circle revelations here, but considering the length of the postings already submitted from the trip, decided that that effort would be too time-consuming and exhausting (Yes, that turns this into a rather G-rated version of the trip, but you wouldn’t want to be bored would you! After a while, hearing “so-and-so hooked up with so-and-so” would get very old.)
